Okay...I think the point of this thread is obvious; but I'll just sum it up into a question: What is your favorite unappreciated movie, book, artist, etc...blah de blah. The reason why it has to be 'unappreciated' or at least ignored (at least by many eyes, that is) is because, well...I don't know. Mebbe it will get more attention? XD Well, anyway, I just decided to make up this thread because I was bored and I lacked anything constructive to do...except for homework. Which I'm obviously ignoring by this point. XP

Anyway, I can't say I know any unappreciated artist, book, or whatever - but I do have a film in mind. This said film that I've always lubbed and felt it was deserving of attention was the one that started an unfortunate chain of Disney sequels, yet it's worth the the watch. It's called "The Rescuers Down Under", and it's a movie where I found ALL of the characters lovable (Ah McLeach, you and your genocidal tendencies are just adorable I love you ) and have a short-lived obsession with frilled lizards. (FRANK I love you FRANNKKK and his SHINING moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0ffSdH5ENI XD )

A PURSE. A LOVELY LADY'S PURSE. I love you I love you

Yeah...methinks I'll go watch that movie shortly. After I'm done with my assignment, o' course.

Ah, Rescuers Down Under. hehe, it is one of those rare animated sequels that is as enjoyable the original, and a classic in its own right.

When I was quite younger, I used to watch it several times in a row. The movie has aged pretty well, too, and I can still sit down and enjoy it on an adult level. Smile

I preferred the sequel over the original...only because of Marahute. XP Oh; as well as the cast of characters, the humor, etc...

anything...unappreciated? well...to be honest...i dont know. i would have said savage garden, but now that i look 'round the net...they are pretty dern popular. in rl, though, its very misleading...because when i go asking peeps around at my school, im usually met with 'huh?'. xD

if we were to discuss about overrated things, however...i would definitely say Eragon. i found absolutely nothing enjoyable about that book, cant say i ever would too. :l

Oh, are we going to talk about Overrated things too? My list is mostly games, though.

*Ahem*

Halo (all)
Final Fantasy VII
The Matrix (all of them)

hehe

My reasons for saying they're overrated will have to wait. It would take days for me to sort past the vitriolic bile of my hatred to write something... legible.

Heh...this topic wasn't created to blast about overrated stuff; but seeing as you two already have done it, I guess there ain't no going back.

I agree with you two about Eragon and the Matrix. About Eragon...I've read a WHOLE lot better. About the Matrix...they should've kept it to the first. That's all I'm sayin'.
